The Tufted Titmouse is a familiar and friendly bird in backyards all over Falmouth.  This active songbird is very tame and is a frequent visitor to backyard feeders year round.  The Tufted titmouse has grayish upperparts, white underparts, rusty colored side flanks, and a very distinctive tufted gray crest on its head.
