The ospreys are returning in force to nests all around Falmouth. Their numbers continue to grow, with over 55 nests in the Town of Falmouth. Typically they begin to return mid-March into early April. Males will tend to arrive a bit earlier and look to claim and build up the old nest. The females will lay eggs and start to incubate them over the next few weeks. This osprey was observed on its return to a nest in West Falmouth.
