CF2C1825-001The Eastern Phoebe is an early spring migrant that is found in open woodlands and along forest edges and gardens. A member of the flycatcher family, they feed mainly on flying insects during the warm weather.  The Eastern Phoebe has gray brown upperparts, whitish underparts, an olive tint to sides and breast as well as a long tail.  This Phoebe was heard and then seen during a recent walk at Crane Wildlife Management Area on Rt. 151 in Falmouth.
