The Tufted Titmouse is a regular at most backyard feeders.  A familiar and friendly sight, the Titmouse has little fear of humans.  They forage in winter for corn kernels, seeds, and small fruits.  The Tufted Titmouse makes loud melodious whistles and may be heard any month of the year.  The Titmouse has a gray crest and upperparts, a black forehead, white underparts, buffy flanks, and a long tail.
