The Carolina Wren is a common and popular backyard bird in Falmouth.  Unlike many other birds, the Carolina Wren is a tireless singer all year long even during the coldest winter months.  This small songbird forages for food on the ground and enjoys suet feeders in the winter.  The Carolina Wren is rusty brown overall, with buffy-colored underparts, a white throat with a long white eyebrow and a slightly downcurved bill.  This Carolina Wren was seen in East Falmouth near the Falmouth Airpark.
