Fall migration offers up lots of opportunity to see a variety of song birds including warblers that spend their summer in North America and winter in the tropics. Fall warblers often present quite a challenge when it comes to proper identification. These two warblers were recently found in thickets at Crane WMA. The mostly yellow Pine Warbler has a faint yellow eye ring, an olive green head along with a yellow throat and breast. The Palm Warbler has olive brown upperparts, a brownish cap, and pale yellow on breast and sides with light chestnut streaks.
